Printing, Inc. began in March, 1991, in the basement of my home,
brokering printing to local area printers. In September of 1991,
we successfully bid on a contract to produce all equipment and training
manuals for NEC.
We
leased 5,000 square feet of office space and installed two Xerox
Docutech 135's plus small bindery and office furniture. On October
1, 1991, we opened the doors of our new office and began production
of manuals and have never looked back.
We
have expanded our office space at the same location three times
and now have a total of 23,000 square feet and operate twenty-four/seven.
In
1992, we added our first two-color duplicator and now have a commercial
printing department comprised of five presses. Our Press Department
now produces one-third of our gross sales. Our gross sales have
grown from $500,000 in sales in FY 1991 to $3.8 million in FY 2002.
In
an effort to maintain our leadership in the digital printing industry,
we have added the new (4) Heidelberg Digimaster 9110's Network Imaging
Systems, the Nexus Pre-Press Work Flow System to manage file processing
and the Heidelberg Nexpress 2100, the latest in digital color printing.
We also added computer-to-plate technology in 2002 to complete the
digital workflow system.
We
are now proud to say that whether a customer requires printing for
books, manuals, catalogs or four color printing, we are a one stop
